Why won't she look at you anymore?
What happens at the lake of fyre?
Why won't the dog stop barking?
How come she doesn't love you?
How come she always does this?
What's wrong with your face?
Who is that man by her side?

This is so good, it's seriously unsettling. The music really helps it as well, great choice!

Appreciate the comments. Many thanks.

oh man this was so shocking!!! the corruption hack is like so good for this- really helped with the unease feeling and atmosphere of the game.. like god i wasnt expecting this.. the narrative while staying vague was very brutal!

Thank you for your comments / thoughts. I spent a while trying to figure out how to create a sense of unease and dread as the game progressed (without making it too evident or obvious). I think the music helps. But yes, you are absolutely right, the corruption is really what seals the deal here, I think. Also, what's unique is how every instance of a new game alters so many different elements (because of the corruption hack); so really, no two playthroughs are ever truly alike.

Again, thank you.

(woops i tend to just have my laptop on mute so i didnt even experience the music sorry :( but i just checked it out and yeah! the music is great! its rly gives off a tense and uneasy vibe) yeah i love how no playthru was the same! it really helped add more unease since different things were shifting so it feels a bit disorienting like just the corruption hack + the dialogue you wrote was enough to get the feeling of dread and unease so you're done a super good job :D
